Man who died after surfing at Ocean Beach in San Francisco identified

Sandro Ricardo Britz, a 55-year-old experienced surfer from Brazil, died after being rescued from Ocean Beach in San Francisco. He was found unconscious and not breathing by lifeguards and later pronounced dead at a hospital. Friends have launched a GoFundMe to support his wife with funeral costs and living expenses.
