Former Suffolk County Corrections Officer Sentenced for COVID Unemployment and Loan Fraud

A corrections officer from Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department was sentenced for submitting fraudulent information to obtain loans under CARES Act programs, including the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) program and the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), in federal court in Boston.
