Who is John Ternus, Apple’s next CEO?

Apple has announced John Ternus as its next CEO, succeeding Tim Cook, who will transition to executive chair. Ternus, a longtime hardware engineering executive and Apple insider, will begin his term on 1 September, with the company maintaining its current strategy that has driven record profits, including over $100bn annual profit and strong iPhone sales in China.
