Miami Northwestern parent arrested after firearm found on school campus, police say

A 33-year-old woman was arrested after a firearm was found on the campus of Miami Northwestern Senior High School during a meeting with school officials regarding her daughter's altercation. Police reported that security alerted officers when the woman became upset, leading to the discovery of a Hi-Point 9mm handgun in her bag.
