Twice-deported illegal immigrant accused of firing toward Texas homes during neighborhood dispute
Juan Ayala Montero, a twice-deported Mexican national, was arrested in Texas after firing a long gun at neighbors during a standoff that required a SWAT team to resolve. Authorities recovered 31 shell casings and confirmed rounds were fired toward homes and residents. Ayala, who has a prior attempted homicide conviction, was charged with felony deadly conduct and faces immigration detainers for illegally reentering the U.S. multiple times.
