Gina Rinehart, Australia’s richest person, has funded Bruce McWilliam’s $26m acquisition of a 10% stake in Southern Cross Media, which owns the Seven Network and other media assets. The deal includes a contingency allowing Rinehart to control shares if McWilliam breaches terms.
