Remains of US soldier killed in WWII returned to Pennsylvania after 80 years
The remains of US Army Pfc John A Walko, killed in the 1944 Battle of Aachen during WWII, were identified through DNA analysis and returned to his Pennsylvania hometown after 80 years. A veteran’s motorcycle group escorted the remains to Commodore, Pennsylvania, earlier this month.
