Remains of US soldier killed in WWII returned to Pennsylvania after 80 years
The remains of John A Walko, a US Army Pfc who died during the Battle of Aachen in WWII, were returned to his Pennsylvania hometown 80 years later after DNA analysis confirmed his identity. A veteran’s motorcycle group escorted the remains from Pittsburgh airport to Commodore, Pennsylvania.
