Federal agents seized $6.4 million worth of cocaine aboard an oil tanker at the Port of Los Angeles and arrested Ceasar Tubay Gelacio Jr., a suspected drug smuggler linked to a Mexican cartel. The operation, led by Homeland Security Investigations and the U.S. Coast Guard, involved a Greek-owned, Liberian-flagged vessel, the Motor Tanker Aquatravesia, which was allegedly transporting narcotics for cartel distribution.
