Philippines National Arrested on Federal Criminal Complaint Charging Him with Importing Quarter Ton of Cocaine from Ecuador

A Philippines national was arrested on federal charges for attempting to smuggle 227 kilograms of cocaine from Ecuador to California aboard an oil tanker. The narcotics were intended for delivery to a Mexican drug cartel. The arrest was announced by the Justice Department.
