‘Restaurants won’t survive’: Michelin chef opens venues abroad to withstand UK taxes
Jason Atherton, a British Michelin-starred chef, is opening restaurants abroad to subsidize his UK venues due to high taxes and a struggling hospitality sector. He has restaurants in Dubai, St Moritz, and now Tuscany. Atherton's newest opening, Maria's, will be in the Principessa hotel in Forte dei Marmi, Italy.
