Elon Musk will settle the feds’ Twitter lawsuit with pocket change

Elon Musk has settled a lawsuit with the SEC over his acquisition of Twitter, now known as X, with a $1.5 million civil penalty. The lawsuit alleged that Musk underpaid by at least $150 million and cost other investors money by not disclosing his purchase of over $500 million in Twitter stock on time. The settlement does not require Musk to admit wrongdoing.
