Pentagon orders university foreign partnership audits

The Department of Defense has mandated that 30 American universities, including Harvard and NYU, conduct audits of their financial and research partnerships with foreign institutions, particularly Chinese universities and military facilities, to protect taxpayer-funded research and ensure national security compliance. Universities must complete the audits or risk losing federal funding.
