Trump Appoints Will Scharf as White House Counsel

President Donald Trump announced that Will Scharf, his current staff secretary, will become the new White House counsel effective September 1, replacing David Warrington who is departing the administration. Scharf brings experience as a federal prosecutor and has previously held roles including head of the National Capital Planning Commission.
