FDA approves Moderna mRNA flu vaccine

The FDA approved Moderna's mRNA seasonal flu vaccine, branded mFLUSIVA, for adults aged 50 and older. The vaccine showed approximately 27% greater effectiveness than standard seasonal flu vaccines during testing and is expected to become available during the 2026-2027 respiratory illness season.
