LA Man Sentenced for CHP Vehicle Attack at Anti-ICE Protest

A 23-year-old Lincoln Heights resident was sentenced to 37 months in federal prison for pouring lighter fluid on a burning California Highway Patrol vehicle and throwing an electric scooter at officers during an anti-ICE protest in downtown Los Angeles in June 2025. The defendant pleaded guilty to obstructing law enforcement.
