Rail disruptions and transport alternatives in Karnataka

Landslips between Yedakumari and Shrivagilu stations disrupted train services on the Bengaluru-Mangaluru-Karwar/Kozhikode route, prompting suspension of night train services with expected resumption on August 3. In response, KSRTC launched alternative bus services including a new sleeper route to Kannur and a weekend package tour to Jog Falls.
