Godavari river flooding and mass evacuations

The Godavari river in Andhra Pradesh crossed multiple warning levels, triggering evacuations of tens of thousands of people across Eluru and Polavaram districts. Water levels have now begun to recede and flood warnings have been withdrawn as the immediate crisis subsides.
