Russian Hackers Exploit Hotel Wi-Fi for Espionage
Russian state-sponsored operatives, tracked as CaptiveCrunch, are compromising hotel and public Wi-Fi networks globally to deliver malware and steal credentials from travelers through fake login pages and fraudulent browser updates. Microsoft has attributed the campaign to the SVR (Russian foreign intelligence service), which has been active since at least June and targets business travelers across multiple industries.
