Peru ex-president Humala conviction overturned

Peru's former President Ollanta Humala was released from jail after the Constitutional Court annulled his 15-year conviction for money laundering and corruption that had been handed down in 2025. The court determined that the law used in his conviction was not in effect at the time of the alleged crimes.
