    Crews responding to call of dog in distress rescue coyote pup from Cape Coral lake

    Firefighters in Cape Coral responded to a call about a dog stuck in Britannia Lake but discovered and rescued a coyote pup instead. The coyote was taken to a care center for transfer to a wildlife rehabilitation clinic. A good Samaritan who assisted the responders was recognized for her help.
