Two Chinese nationals, Kin Keung Ho and Lihua Owen Ma, pleaded guilty to illegally shipping over 500 turtles from the US to Hong Kong, violating American wildlife law. The US Department of Justice stated that Ho shipped 99 packages containing 578 turtles.
