A white-bearded man argued with a 26-year-old victim at the E 167th St & River Ave subway station around 5:50 p.m. before slashing them during an evening rush-hour clash. The incident occurred as the victim exited a northbound No. 4 train.

Diana Smith, a Bronx resident, was arrested for attacking a subway passenger and making anti-Semitic remarks. The incident follows at least six prior police encounters involving Smith.
