- BWI runway to close temporarily for $84 million repaving effort
Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport will temporarily close one runway for 11 weeks as part of an $84 million repaving project. The closure will involve overnight shutdowns of the other commercial runway to facilitate intersection work, but officials state airline operations should remain unaffected.
