A Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) officer was decommissioned during an investigation into allegations of shouting a homophobic slur at two men in a rideshare vehicle. Luke Watson, co-founder of Third Coast Comedy Club and The Silo Market, reported the incident, claiming the officer responded to a raised middle finger with a homophobic remark before leaving.
