Ballard Power Systems Inc. reported a second-quarter loss of $20.3 million, or 7 cents per share, exceeding Wall Street's expectation of a 4-cent loss. Revenue of $20.6 million also fell short of the projected $27 million, with shares closing at $2.79, up from $1.83 a year earlier.
