Canada is urging the United States and Mexico to renew their joint free-trade agreement for another 16 years amid economic and political pressure from the Trump administration. Canada’s minister for U.S. trade Dominic LeBlanc called for renewal in a letter to U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer and Mexico’s Economy Secretary Marcelo Ebrard.
