The user reports receiving spam calls and voicemails from American Tax Advisors. After calling back to opt out, a persistent notification for a Verizon eSIM appeared on their phone. Neither the carrier nor Verizon was able to fix the issue of removing this transferred but unactivated eSIM information.

Truecaller is expanding into the eSIM business to diversify its revenue streams, offering data plans ranging from 1 GB over 7 days to 20 GB over 30 days. The eSIM product will initially be available in 29 countries.
