14 Givati soldiers were dismissed from combat duty and received 30-day sentences for leading a desertion. About 100 soldiers left a base and abandoned weapons in protest against a commander, with 80 returning for training, two awaiting sentencing, and one still missing.

Russian regional activist Daniil Chebykin stated that the war in Ukraine is causing increased restrictions, reduced access to independent information, and a rise in desertion within Russia. He also warned about Moscow's expanding rhetoric toward neighboring countries, including Armenia.
