    Possible job scam in Chennai (Teynampet) – asking ₹4,500 upfront for data entry job

    A relative in Chennai applied for a data entry job in Teynampet (JVL plaza) and was asked to pay ₹4,500 for 'server installation' on her laptop before a company laptop would be provided. The job had no proper interview, and communication occurred primarily via phone and WhatsApp. The individual paid the fee, suspecting it may be a scam.
