    Arlington man sentenced to more than 18 years in jail for sexually exploiting minors

    Stephen Chadwick Howell, a 25-year-old man from Arlington, Virginia, was sentenced to over 18 years in prison for coercing minors into illegal sexual activity and attempting to destroy evidence by urinating on his laptop during a nine-hour standoff with the FBI. The Department of Justice reported that Howell engaged in explicit conversations with at least three minors, produced and distributed sexually explicit material, and discussed methods to groom minors online with another individual.
