    Registered sex offender in Minneapolis pleads guilty to production of CSAM

    Christopher Allan Amelsberg, a registered sex offender in Minneapolis, pleaded guilty to producing or attempting to produce child sexual assault material. He communicated with at least 12 minors from August 2023 to May 2026 and was already a registered sex offender for a prior conviction of possessing child sexual abuse material. The FBI states there may be additional victims, and the statutory minimum sentence is 25 years.
