Hezbollah claims it repelled an Israeli armored and infantry force near Ali al-Tahir Heights in southern Lebanon, destroying three Merkava tanks with guided missiles and using rocket and artillery fire. The group also detonated explosive devices against advancing Israeli armor and targeted a second force attempting to evacuate casualties under smoke cover.

Israeli air strikes and artillery fire were reported in southern Lebanon, targeting areas near Kfar Tebnit and Nabatieh al-Fawqa. Ten rockets were launched toward Israeli forces in the Nabatieh district before the strikes. Al Jazeera reported the incidents, which included shelling in the heights of Ali al-Taher.
