Mr. Paul’s Chop House in Roseville was named the winner of this year’s Vote 4 The Best category for best fine dining in Metro Detroit. Other finalists include The Vault on First in Wyandotte, Joe Muer Seafood and London Chop House in Detroit, and Rudy’s Prime Steakhouse in Clarkston. The contest successfully gathered over 163,000 votes across 80 different local categories.

Bad Brad’s BBQ was declared the winner of this year's Vote 4 The Best category for best BBQ in Metro Detroit. Other top five finalists included Woodpile BBQ Shack, Twisted Street BBQ, Union Woodshop, and Uncle Honeys BBQ. Overall, the vote received more than 163,000 votes from Metro Detroiters supporting local businesses.

The plan includes perimeter barriers, groundwater extraction, and on-site treatment, with construction starting in 2027. Local groups have long criticized pollution at the site, which borders the Detroit River and a drinking water intake.
