A woman died after drowning in the pool at a hotel in Victorville. On Aug. 4, police were called to the Beyond Stay Hotel around 2:39 p.m., where hotel staff found her unresponsive in the swimming pool.

A 71-year-old man, Carl Adrienne Moreno, was found shot to death inside a crashed vehicle in Victorville. San Bernardino County sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene on May 9. The victim was sitting in the driver's seat with a gunshot wound.
