- Russia seeks arrest of Telegram chief Durov
Russia’s FSB has issued an international wanted notice for Telegram founder Pavel Durov, accusing him of complicity in terrorism by allegedly allowing Ukrainian security services to use the platform for recruiting Russians for sabotage and attacks. Moscow claims a banned Telegram dating bot was used to contact and pressure Russians to target police and infrastructure.
