The administration is enhancing supply chain security through domestic production and partnerships, including a ReconCraft-Uforce agreement to produce drone boats in Oregon and Senator Marsha Blackburn's Chip EQUIP Act to secure semiconductor supply chains.

UFORCE is a London-based company that creates combat drones and plans to manufacture unmanned surface vessels in the US. Plankey's appointment comes after he withdrew his nomination for the CISA director position amid senate objections.
