- Spencer Strider out for 4 weeks with right elbow inflammation
Atlanta Braves pitcher Spencer Strider will be sidelined for four weeks due to right elbow inflammation, requiring an MRI after the period. Strider, who has a history of arm injuries including Tommy John surgery in 2019 and UCL repair in 2024, was placed on the 15-day injured list after leaving a game with soreness and velocity concerns. Rookie JR Ritchie will replace him in the rotation.
