    Sissy, an Asian elephant who spent 26 years at The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee, died on July 6 due to advanced osteoarthritis. She had previously lived in Texas zoos and survived flooding at Frank Buck Zoo before retiring to the sanctuary in 2000.
