A charter aircraft carrying eight people crashed at a remote radar site near Cape Newenham Long Range Radar Site Airport in western Alaska. The U.S. military reported that all individuals were killed on board. The plane, identified as a Cessna 441, had taken off from the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport.
