Williamson County schools require e-bike safety course for students who ride to campus

Williamson County schools will require students in grades 3-12 to complete an e-bike safety course with a parent or guardian before riding electric bikes, scooters, or similar devices to school starting in the 2026-27 academic year. The training, led by teachers and school resource officers, covers traffic laws and device safety, with registered devices needing a school-issued identification tag. The policy aims to proactively address safety concerns and was approved by the Williamson County School Board on June 15.
