- Hong Kong garrison holds reception marking 99th anniversary of PLA’s founding
The Hong Kong garrison of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) held a reception at Ngong Shuen Chau Barracks on Stonecutters Island to mark the 99th anniversary of the PLA’s founding. Rear Admiral Lai Ruxin, the garrison political commissar, pledged to expand efforts in promoting patriotic and defense education and emphasized obedience to the Communist Party of China.
