In St. Paul, the State Supreme Court denied the City Council’s request to stop the “Tenants Right to Repair In Residential Rental Property” ballot initiative. Separately, Rod Stewart canceled his Sept. 1 State Fair show due to a coronary procedure, and Kyler Murray was announced as QB1 for the Vikings season.
- Detroit solar project transfers to DTE after vendor drops out
Detroit City Council approved transferring three solar sites from Lightstar Renewables to DTE Energy after Lightstar cited an inability to proceed due to a sale to a private equity firm. The $130 million initiative aims to develop solar arrays in five neighborhoods and improve energy efficiency in 209 homes, with the project now managed by DTE Energy.
