A bus driver was killed in a Stanly County head-on crash caused by road debris from a vehicle driven by Dustin Kendall, who was later charged with failure to secure load and expired registration. The collision occurred on Highway 52 in Albemarle, resulting in the death of bus driver Stella Dase and serious injuries to the Jeep driver.
