A 13-year-old boy accused of shooting his father in Detroit was taken into custody in Ohio alongside another individual and a French mastiff dog. Detroit police are currently working with Ohio officials to facilitate the extradition of the individuals back to Michigan. An underground cable failure caused a power outage affecting nearly 5,000 customers in the Grand River and Southfield freeway area of Detroit. The outage spans from as north as M39 and Seven Mile down to Grand River and Fenkell.
