Three men, Gabi Tanase, Marius Tanase, and Ionut Tanase, were arrested for running a car-sale scam targeting victims across California, including Los Angeles residents. The scam affected multiple counties, and the suspects were caught after attempting to scam another victim. The arrests were made on Monday.
