The Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope is being prepared for an August 30 launch at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Lee Armus, a senior research scientist at Caltech’s IPAC, leads the Roman Science Support Center, which will operate the telescope in orbit approximately 930,000 miles from Earth.
