    Seventy-three people were arrested and 2,209 citations issued during a two-day Queen City Overwatch operation aimed at improving road safety on Charlotte interstates. The joint effort by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, North Carolina State Highway Patrol, and Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office resulted in 18 firearms seized, 39 DWIs, and 26 warrants served.
