A UK study suggests that providing specialized care after a woman's first miscarriage instead of the third could prevent approximately 10,000 pregnancy losses annually. Currently, women in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland receive NHS specialist care for early pregnancy losses only after three miscarriages.
