Ukraine's military reported 233 combat engagements and thousands of Russian strikes and drone attacks on Thursday, with intense fighting across multiple front-line areas. Ukrainian forces resisted dozens of assaults near Sloviansk, Kostiantynivka, and Pokrovsk.

Ukrainian forces conducted a precision strike on the Rubikon UAV training center in Pokrovsk's Lazurnyi neighborhood, killing 10-15 Russian personnel and destroying drone equipment and toxic chemical-laden ammunition. The attack is part of a 40-day SBU operation targeting Russian logistics, fuel depots, and drone command posts in occupied territories including Crimea, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson.

Ukrainian Defense Forces reported 295 combat clashes along the frontline on July 4, with Russian forces launching intense bombardments using over 8,700 kamikaze drones and 252 guided aerial bombs. The heaviest ground assaults occurred in Huliaipole (38 attacks), Pokrovsk (31 attacks), and Sloviansk (25 attacks), followed by Ukrainian strikes on Russian command posts and troop concentrations.

Ukraine's General Staff reported 225 combat engagements across the front line during a 24-hour period ending at 10 p.m. on Friday. Russian forces launched 57 air strikes with 161 guided bombs, over 6,300 attack drones, and over 2,100 shelling attacks, with the heaviest fighting near Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka.

Ukraine's Commander-in-Chief Syrsky announced that Ukrainian forces have exceeded Russian forces in daily assault operations for the first time, indicating a shift in battlefield momentum. Despite this progress, Syrsky warned of significant Russian military threats near Pokrovsk and potential northern offensives from Belarus. Ukraine plans military reforms including new contracts and increased financial incentives to address manpower shortages.
